In the first half of 2023, the construction and engineering company APP-Projekt completed 50 contracts on the real estate market in Poland. Completed projects covered various sectors and covered a wide range of services provided by the company.
Among the orders that the company carried out in the first six months of 2023, contracts for services for the warehouse, logistics and residential market prevailed.
APP-Projekt provided support for 14 projects in the warehouse sector, and the total area of investments in which APP-Projekt employees were involved amounted to over 350,000 sqm. sqm More than half of the orders concerned the reconstruction of warehouse halls. There were also some unusual tasks. – Our involvement in logistic projects was mainly based on project management and investor supervision services in built or reconstructed buildings, but we also carried out many other interesting orders, such as the construction of a rainwater drainage system, a photovoltaic system or a fit-out of a warehouse hall – says Michał Korwin- Małaszyński, board member of APP-Projekt.
In addition, in the first half of 2023, the APP-Projekt group participated in the construction of a total of over 1,000 apartments throughout Poland for 12 developers. Services completed in the first half of 2023 included, among others: project management, investor supervision, due diligence reports and the service of a bank supervision inspector. – Our cooperation with residential developers is very efficient and is based on the long-term trust our clients have placed in us and their appreciation of the high quality of our work. This is a stable branch of our business, which still has a lot of potential. We hope that thanks to the launch of the Safe Credit 2% program, the projects that have been suspended so far will be launched and the pool of housing investments implemented by us will increase even more - adds Jacek Korwin-Małaszyński, member of the board of APP-Projekt.
In the past six months, the company also completed several projects in the field of interior finishing in office and commercial and service buildings and performed many specialist analyzes and reports combined with technical consulting in various segments of the real estate market. Representatives of APP-Projekt indicate that the first half of the year in the real estate industry was not as bad as previously forecasted. They are also optimistic about the future.
– In the first half of 2023, less development activity was noticeable and concerned all sectors. However, there are positive signs that the market will recover in the near future. Both the announced unfreezing of loans and stabilizing construction prices will be favorable to investors. Meanwhile, we are not idle - at the beginning of the new year, our employees and clients will benefit from further facilities provided by the extensive building application created by APP. Currently, the defect and defect management module is in operation, and the next two - focused, among others, on on introducing changes to projects - they are nearing completion - sums up Michał Korwin-Małaszyński.
