The construction of Hotel Ikar in Poznań has entered one of the most important stages of the investment process. The project is now clearly transitioning from documentation and conceptual assumptions into the tangible quality of the future facility, which will directly impact guest comfort and the overall operational standard of the hotel.
APP-Projekt is responsible for Project Management and Investor Supervision for the investment carried out for PHH Hotele. Our scope of work includes multidisciplinary coordination, quality control of construction works, supervision of the project schedule, as well as support in decision-making and acceptance procedures. The General Contractor for the project is Chemobudowa-Kraków S.A.
Hotel Ikar is being developed with both tourists and business guests in mind. One of the project’s key advantages is its location near the Poznań International Fair, making the hotel well suited to serve both the tourism and business travel markets.
The project includes the development of a functional hotel offering comfortable, fully equipped rooms and solutions aligned with contemporary hospitality standards.
The investment is currently in an advanced stage of installation and finishing works. From a project management perspective, this is one of the most demanding phases of the entire process, while also being the stage that has the greatest impact on the final quality, reliability, and operational standard of the building.
At this stage, multiple disciplines are working simultaneously, which requires precise coordination and efficient decision-making processes. The following elements are particularly crucial:
As with every complex hotel development, the process also involves the ongoing refinement of selected design solutions, adjustments resulting from previous construction stages, and updates to timelines for individual work packages. Properly managed investor supervision and project management, however, allow these challenges to be addressed efficiently while maintaining the continuity and pace of the project.
Hotel Ikar is another hospitality project in APP-Projekt’s portfolio, confirming our experience in managing and coordinating investments within the hospitality sector. Last year, we also completed the Hotel Wieniawa project in Wrocław for the same investor.
Hospitality projects require a particularly high level of organizational precision, close cooperation between all parties involved in the investment process, and effective management of multidisciplinary construction works. These elements are essential to achieving the final quality of the facility and ensuring its long-term operational performance.
