Modernizing a facility that remains fully operational on a daily basis is a completely different level of challenge than a standard investment project. This is exactly the case with the redevelopment of Galeria Dominikańska, where a multi-stage project is underway to adapt the building to current fire safety regulations.
The works have been divided into phases to ensure the continuous operation of the shopping centre:
2026 – redevelopment of technical back-of-house areas (currently in progress)
2027 – redevelopment of the mall passage
2028 – redevelopment of parking facilities
APP-Projekt is responsible for comprehensive project management and investor supervision, ensuring full control over the process and safety at every stage of the project.
The scope of services includes coordination of all stakeholders involved in the investment process, quality and schedule control, compliance with technical requirements and regulations, as well as ongoing supervision of construction safety.
Delivering a project within an operating facility requires a particularly precise approach. Key factors include detailed phase planning, continuous progress monitoring, and minimizing disruption to the centre’s users.
The investor for the project is G City Europe. The tender design was prepared by GroupArch, while the detailed design is being developed by BSD’sign.
